| Thank you for your interest in Oriental Shorthair Cats. My babies are place into qualifing homes through an adoption process. Just answer some important kitten rearing questions on Adoption page, and also some questions about yourself. Because of the popularitiy of this breed, to avoid disappointment. I recommend that you fill out a adoption form ahead of expectation date. If I have kittens available , and you have chosen which one you prefer. A 50% deposit is required to hold your kitten for you. The amount of deposit is determined upon assessment value by the breeder. A deposit is a condition to ask the buyer to really search your heart, A deposit being meaning you are serious. It is not fair to other buyers for the kitten to be held only to change your mind later after . If having put a deposit on a kitten , and wish to use that deposit on a future more preferred breeding, this is accepted..and will be used on a breeding of your choice and there are other buyers with this preferring breeding also , and are willing to wait for this breeding. If I do not have the kitten that you prefer, you may wait until the next available mating, you may put your name in the next waiting list . Let me know... You will be offered a kitten, with the next availability OR I will try to mate a pair with specifications with the waiting list. Once you have thought it through..and given a deposit. Please read the following .......... Important!!!! Your deposit will not be refunded if kitten is not bought, so please If you are not serious, do not fill in adoption form , or leave a deposit I have had a lot of some seemingly serious people who want to adopt then change their minds at the last moment . this is so unfair to me and and others interested There is no longer a waiting list. If there are no kittens available, check back at a later time. I have had countless people who have asked me put them on a waiting list,,only to find they will NOT WAIT When buying a new home or car, people normally wait for this item or dream... WHY??? do People who purchase or desiring a pet find it so difficult to wait for the kitten of their dreams Will not hold kitten for buyer any longer than 4 months of age., Please aquaint yourself with the breed throughly with the link provided below. Please aquaint yourself with the proper care of the breed. Air shipping Customers For people needing Air shipping, Costs are usually determined by the Airlines, usually Continental Airlines Shipping costs include Cost of flight ,Custom papers, Vet checkup papers etc, vaccines, Registration papers, Gas expenses to Airport, and Airline approved Pet carriers, within 10 days of departure.
